Just a guess, but maybe someone added windshield washer fluid to the coolant tank at some point. It is easy to do on this vehicle. Filler caps are both square and yellow and on the core support. The only difference is the logo on the cap.

The side with the cutout half circle (shown in the picture) goes against the drain plug. It will screw onto the plug. They work fine, but a torque wrench will make sure it crushes properly. Nissan uses this type of washer.

It is SM / MA2 rated. It is definitely not sold at "auto store" prices. Is Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W50 better? It has more zzdp for sure, but I am not sure that makes it better. I am sure both are fine for my application.
