    Basic car stereo question

Thank you. The Radio/cassette is branded as a Toyota model (I will try to get a picture, but it is darn cold out :-( ) I changed the original 40 year old front speakers and the sound is much better. A friend gave me some nice additional speakers in mounting boxes that will mount perfectly on...

    Basic car stereo question

The truck is an 84 Toyota, the radio may not be original but it only has L and R output (no fader) . Output is 4 ohms per channel speakers installed are 4 ohm, I wish to add rear L and R 4 ohm speakers. Not sure how a fader works ? Is it a rheostat.?

I have a basic 2 speaker stereo in my PU truck, I wish to add some rear speaker boxes, I understand a little about ohms and daisy chaining the speakers, but can I add a fader control between F and R speakers ? There is no fader built into the stereo.

    TPMS for Idiots please

I believe Toyota has the direct system. Two tires were replaced about a year ago, I was at least charged for the TPMS on those tires. So I guess it is the old tires that are causing this :-( Thak you all for your help.

    TPMS for Idiots please

This is my first car with TPMS it is a 2009 Toyota Matrix. The warning light has come on in the past, but correcting the tire pressures always turned the light out. What triggered you to align with a certain manufacturer for your cordless tools?

I went with Ridgid about the time they came out with the Lifetime warranty, I have no complaints. I have claimed on replacment batteries and the original drill burnt out (Brushes ?), I received very good service. IMO their tools are not always the best in their class, but they are not the worst...

Too much wine! -- in europe, so there subsidizing it :)

Also, you cannot just grow grapes anywhere, it is a regional product and a product that takes many, many years to establish and build an internation reputation in that area. Wine sales and exports are very lucrative for the governments involved. They don't want to loose that (possibly forever)...

Where should I buy the new Welder?

A friend bought a Miller welder from a Welding supply store, he paid substantially more than he would have for a similar model from a big box store, but was assured that he was getting a pro model (with less plastic parts) than the consumer model. About 6 weeks after getting the welder and with...

Is this an MTL suitable for syncromesh transmissions

Thanks guys, the car is not mine, it belongs to a friend in Southern Europe, so temps get quite high. He favours Castrol products in his British car.

Is this an MTL suitable for syncromesh transmissions

The viscosity is as recommended for the application. My preference would have been Redline MTL. But would this Castrol product have friction modifiers ? Is there another Castrol product that would be preferable ?
