Would you buy an '07 Prius w/ 200K?

Prius is a big transition. She will probably adapt to the pushbutton proximety key fairly well, but the other systems are going to be completely foreign. It doesn't have a PRNDL pattern gear selector. Radio and HVAC controls are going to be different than an old Nissan truck too. The engine...

    self hearing test online

    47. Gone at 13K too many motorcycles with aftermarket exhausts, being an Army tanker, SPL car stereos, concerts, firearms, growing up in close proximety to helicopters....I'm honestly surprised it still works that well.

What is your average MPG? Mine is....

Over the past 156 miles, probably 75% freeway/25% city - in dash meter is registering 49mpg. 49! That's better than my old Suzuki Swift. And the Cruze is much more pleasant to drive than a Swift. (says more about the Swift than the Cruze)

    misconceptions on proper inflation!

All I know for certain is that I hate TPMS. I checked the pressure on all my tires with a gauge that I believe to be fairly accurate. Set each one to the recommended PSI on the door sill placard. Drove to work and the pressure on all 4 in the DIC varies wildly. Then my wife checks hers...

I've been kinda' wanting to do some easy trail riding on a Ruckus. All the used Ruckuses are stretched and have golf cart wide rear tires...

I don't know if the S-class has the same type of Sensotronic Brake as the E-Class, but if it does, it is programmed to set an error at something like 300,000 stop cycles. It's to "protect" the motor that may still be working fine. Mercedes Benz will want to sell you an entirely new SBC/ABS...

    anyone scared riding roller coasters?

If you hate the ascent, ride a linear induction motor coaster first. It'll rocket you right out of the station 0-70 in 3 seconds. No time for anxiety. I've never been scared. When I was a kid, I didn't mind the long trips to Atlanta or Orlando because there were roller coasters at the end of it.

    Backing into parking places.....

Back in elementary school, I was told that people of color backed their cars in so that others would know that person was like them and wouldn't steal their fender skirts and hubcaps. I don't know if that is true. It might have been to mess with the white boy. But sure enough, black parent...

Microwave ovens never last more than 6 years?

My Tappan OTR microwave is Korean from 1987. It doesn't cook as fast or as evenly as the our newer 1100 watt countertop unit. I doubt my countertop unit will last 28 years though.

Was there a personal all time best?

Ran it in my Yamaha GT80, YZ100, and RD350. Never had an engine failure.
