Best 75w90 gear oil for vibration reduction?

I'd bet a dollar to a donut that it was there, though. Have you inquired about this on Fiat (or Miata?) forums?

    Stihl Trimmer Hard Start

We made this change a few years back. Always starts, and vibrates significantly less than 2-stroke trimmers. Will do our whole yard 2x+ on a single charge. Bought the matching blower, was so impressed with the trimmer. Ryobi 40v, if anyone is wondering. Also eliminates having to fuss with and...

    Redline MT90 with LSD?

MT-90 is good stuff. Additionally, I wish the Mazdaspeed 3 trans was a direct swap for my regular 3. I want that extra gear and LSD! You can swap them, but the shifter inside won't look right if you make it functional. That's the scuttlebutt, anyway. 😆

    Reese 12 V winch diagram

Need at least a winch model# to help, otherwise we'd just be blindly Googling. I used to get paid to do that for customers, I'm not doing it for free for Internet strangers. Lol Might have better luck asking in an off-road forum. Higher population of people with winch experience there. Or reach...

Best 75w90 gear oil for vibration reduction?

So it does it sitting still at idle? It's likely normal. I've never had a rwd manual that you *couldn't* feel the motor running through the shifter. Even brand new off the lot vehicles. You're probably just actually noticing it because you just had the work done and your brain is actively...

    My Sonata Failed Inspection

My money is on 'FailSafe', which in my experience, always fail and lock open within 20 minutes of install. Great concept, if they functioned as thermostats.

    My Sonata Failed Inspection

Yes, always do this. Takes 10 minutes but can save you so much time and frustration!

What ever Happened to Mobil Super

Ran this as my go-to oil in everything circa late 90s. I remember when it changed to the 5k rating, didn't care and still changed @3k. A complete oil change *might* run you $12 if there were no sales running. An oil change at Jiffy was typically $29.99, for reference. Was cheap and good and in...

    Pennzoil Platinum - 15k mile or 1yr

Edited to reflect my maintenance schedule for the wife's Hyundai Accent. 6 mos is usually less than 2k miles, but her trip to work is 1/4 mile each way so it's nothing but short trips save the occasional run into town. GDI 1.6L (the early version, not version II that has all the issues). My...

Reviving a 71 C10! Curious about suitable oils.

Haven't seen it mentioned, so just in case you're real young or once knew but have forgotten... The worst thing you can do to points is turn the key to 'ignition' without starting the motor, and leaving it on. They can and will weld themselves shut. Haha. Easily avoidable, just unhook the...

    New battery for my 2012 Rav4 V6

Yeah, they're currently in my cart. :)

Wife left a an 80V Li battery out in the rain............

Pantyhose works better, as it's a much finer mesh material. The real danger of using rice is the very fine dust that it contains in the bag. Pantyhose leaves it virtually dust-free. Source: have done the river fail, toilet fail, saved the kids' tablets a couple of times. Lol

    New battery for my 2012 Rav4 V6

The NOCO washers are standard felt deals, impregnated with their battery protection goop.haha Planning on adding them to our cars soon, particularly the Accent (it has had corrosion issues in the past, though hasn't since replacing the battery and the terminals). Currently liking NOCO battery...

E85 Occasional use in FlexFuel Vehicle?

Availability is an issue here in Middle TN, too. There's all of 1 stations in Lebanon that sells E-85. Father-in-law used to run it when the '$/mileage drop' ratio was advantageous. He had a 2010ish Chevy 1500 at the time. Personally haven't ever owned anything set-up to run it. Though one day I...

    Tire Recommendations 2004 Nissan Sentra

I got excited, went and looked, and this tire isn't offered in the size for my wife's car. Disappointing, it's a good looking tire. And the price/specs seemed good. Yes, part of my process in picking tires involves looks. Not the top priority, but it's in the list of priorities. Just like...
