What 15w40 do you run? The first sample wasn’t as reliable I don’t think because I’m pretty sure I changed that oil at less than 2000 miles. Maybe closer to 1000. So that’s maybe why it looked so good
I’ve seen people say this, are you saying the gauge is usually wrong in general or that mine specifically probably isn’t showing the correct oil pressure? What 15w40 do you run?
Funny enough right before this oil change a friend suggested going to a 10w-40 oil so I did, went with the Valvoline HM synthblend. when I change it next time I'm going to do another report and see where I'm at. I wanted to do the Pennzoil high mileage 10w40 but AutoZone didn't have it. Next...
Below is the report for my daily driven jeep cherokee xj. Runs and drives greats. Engine is pretty noisy but on par i think for any 4.0. What do you guys think? Ive only owned the jeep since early 2024, Oil pressure is really good according to factory gauge, sits at about 40 at idle when hot.
