    Smart phone recommendations

My son has a Google pixel and is pleased with it, however it costs as much as a top of the line galaxy or iPhone. I have a OnePlus 3t. Much less expensive and nearly as good. My only knock on the 3t is the camera isn't as good as the pixel or iPhone.

    Dirt bike trans lube

My Kawasaki 2-Strokes from the 70's called for ATF in the transmission.

Rental Car: 2016 Camry CE 2.5

Pete - It was a good thing. The Impala felt much lighter and more powerful than the Charger.

Rental Car: 2016 Camry CE 2.5

On a recent business trip I rented first a charger, then an Impala. Both had V6's. The only thing that I preferred on the charger was rear wheel drive. I found the Impala moore to my liking in all other areas. I could spin the tires in the Impala at will with the 305 HP engine. Note that the v6...

    Dynamat- anything similar?

I used Peel & Seal on a few vehicles with good results. $16.48 at Lowes for a 6 in x 25 ft roll. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Peel-Seal-Insta...lashing/1018733

Can't find electrical sealant at stores

Dow Corning 3145 is what you need, but you will probably not find it locally and need to order it.

    Chevy Trailblazer Stalling

As others have said. Clean the throttle body. When it gets dirty on the 4.2 the symptom is stalling at idle. Cleaning the throttle body resolved this issue on my trailblazer.

We all drink Becks beer, RIGHT?

With all of the good local breweries found in most cities these days, why drink beer made by InBev or SAB.

    Trailblazer Still Overheating

I have an 03 Trailblazer, live in Tucson, and have never seen my temp gage that high. Several years ago it was reading low in the winter and setting a DTC, I don't remember the number, for the coolant not heating up rapidly enough from a cold start. I replaced the thermostat and was still having...

    2015 vw jetta rental

Yes, I just investigated an apparently the diesel has the dual clutch, but not the gasser. I guess that I will leave my description of the driving feel of the automatic as being substantially different than any other automatic that I have driven. Not necessarily bad, but not as smooth as one...

    2015 vw jetta rental

I also rented a Jetta recently and had similar thoughts. The 1.8 turbocharged engine made good power but the automatic transmission was a bit clunky at slow speeds. I attributed that to my lack of experience with a dual clutch automatic. It definitely feels more akin to a manual when...

    Motorola Droid Maxx?

Take a look at the Moto X (2nd Gen). It is $99 on contract with Verizon. I recently bought one directly from Motorola and am using it on AT&T. It is different than the iPhone 4 it replaced and takes some time to get used to it, but I am happy with it. It was also assembled in Dallas, although I...

    Cracks in Michelin Tires

These are size P245/70R16 Michelin X-Radial LT2 tires that I purchased from Costco. They have been on my 2003 Trailblazer for 52 months and have 64K miles on them. They have performed well and have enough tread left to go a little longer, but with these cracks I wouldn't want to drive at highway...

    Are Champ filters decent?

All of the AC PF457G oil filters that I have used were made by Hengst, not Champ.
