It looks like Havoline/ Chevron have changed their formulation in there SQ rated oils, a lot less Calcium,Zinc and Moly. Seems to be a much weaker formulation...

I just picked up a new 2025 Ram 1500 with a Hemi 5.7, I'd like to convert the truck to Valvoline synthetic oil but Im noticing there are a few choices available, Valvoline Advanced, Valvoline Extended Protection and Valvoline Restore and Protect, Is there a big difference between these 3 oils...

Mistik JT-4 Full Synthetic has been awesome for my Polaris's and cat's over the years..

Been using Kirkland 5w30 synthetic in a 2005 Pontiac Vibe the last 10 years, I changed the oil once a year which averages between 8000-10000 miles per year, the car has 280,000 k miles , it's doesn't burn a drop of oil and the motor runs excellent, this is a great oil at a great price

Thank you for all the replies it does make a lot of sense with different additives probably some adding more to the cleaning process I will take a sample and send it to the Blackstone labs just to get analyze I might even try to do that with a Napa synthetic just to see what the major...
