Bought a '23 Sonata SE / traded in Accent

I rarely come here these days, but every time I do @wemay gets a new car (no joking) :) How do you get those deals? I mean, do they phone you or you're just stopping by whenever they service your car?

    Tiguan vs Merc CLA

Had a 2015 GLA250 in 2017-2020, the transmission was repaired only like 3 times. Good thing I’ve had extended warranty. Merc no more

    What’s best oil for my Audi R8 V10 2012 ?

Lol this is one of the funniest topics I’ve seen in years. The guy asks for an advice, gets M1/Castrol/VAG oils with approvals responses. Goes “Thanks for the advice, I’m going with the royal purple” 🤣🤣🤣 I hope it’s 0w16 RP then, for extra protection

Sold it and don't look...

Anyone ever track down cars you've owned in the past? How?

Carfax Car Care allows you watch any car by VIN or license plate https://www.carfax.com/Service/ Only carfax's service records are available, but it gives you a basic idea of where the car is and what's the mileage Not good for DIY owners obviously

Can anything reliable be purchased these days for $5k?

My in-law came from Ukraine, while all the docs are pending she needs to get around with her out-of-country license. Adding to my vehicles' insurance will be as expensive as buying a used car. Can you think of any vehicle I can get her for about $5k these days? I know I'm asking for too much...
