I've seen Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 0W-20 being highly rated and holding its weight better than some other 0W-20s (higher resistance to shearing)...sorry to read your experience with it Ridgelineguy...

and you explain it as I understand it too...datalogs would tell the tale...unless I've misunderstood your current and past posts, if the manufacture says you are safe using a certain octane, you should be safe using a certain octane...datalogs to confirm but that is what I've followed rather...
I don't believe there is much benefit to running premium gasoline in an engine that seemingly at least cannot take advantage of the higher octane...but I am willing to learn different...
Cars that I always used premium in 2001 Corvette, 2006 GTO, 2007 CLK350 Cabriolet, 2015 SS sedan, 2016 CTS...
2005 GMC Yukon Denali with 6.0 V8...87 octane Top Tier Regular from Costco...125.8 miles travelled and mostly city type driving 10.4 MPG (11.241 indicated) but I have 2025 GMC Yukon Denali 20" rims and tires...no speedometer recalibration...topped up tank as gas prices rising quickly in...

I see Polyolefin alkyl phenol alkyl amine listed at the 7-13% but I don't think that is the same as PEA - polyether amine...did I miss where Seafoam has PEA???
Bill
I stand corrected...not API approved...just listed as meeting or exceeding the requirements...
when I bought my 5 quart jug I saw the ACEA C6/API SP printed on the back as approvals when in fact they are listed as "meets requirements of..."

your (Specktre) experience with Continental DWS-06 Plus is different than my own...I've had DWS-06s on a 2013 Malibu 2.0T, and a 2015 SS sedan 6.2 as well as DWS-06 Plus on a 2014 CTS Sport Wagon and a 2016 CTS V-Sport 3.6TT...
I felt the sidewalls were a touch soft with the SS sedan but great...
Mobil 1 ESP X2 0W-20 is API approved...API SN or above listed currently as well as MB 229.71
