    Valve seat anti-wear additive

Run it. dont worry, unless you tow a trailer, have a tow truck or its in a motorhome. I know, i collect recessed heads ( exaust seat) that were made before hardened seats were standard . My collection is very small . Again RUN IT.

    What causes bent pushrods?

heavy towing up a mountain (heat) can take out the oil film on the valve guides,Cast iron guides, steel valves, hangs them (valves) open off the valve seat, and Piston hits said valves and you end up with Bent pushrods, Just replacing pushrods may not fix your issue long term.
