Has anyone here removed 3m film glue?

You might try a heat gun to melt it a little, then use this special wheel on a drill. I used this to remove stickers from the car and it made quick work of it. I didn't have any problems with scratched paint using the wheel. One concern is using the wheel on plastic parts. You have to be very...

Honestly, I was a little worried about running almost 14k on this run. I was comfortable averaging 10k. I got a little busy and didn't pay much attention to the sticker thinking this was another 11-12k run until I looked back at my last UOA and saw this was 13.8k. Either way, thankfully, this...

I would think some of the sludge would show up on his UOA as more wear, but this UOA doesn't look to bad other than slightly higher Al. With all the junk coming out, is there anything in his UOA that would indicate a sludge issue?

    Toyota OEM Oil Filter Efficiency

Simple way to find out if it makes much difference is run 2-4 runs of 10k OCIs with an OEM Toyota filter and then run another 2-4 OCIs with a Fram Ultra or other premium filter and compare the UOA. Make sure to use the same oil of course. I’m sure both results will be very close.

Stainless steel brake tubing worth it?

I had stainless steel lines on my Eclipse. The pedal was very firm after that modification. But I also had flushed the brake fluid, got new pads and rotors at the same time.

Toyota 1.8L is apparently a 300K mile engine

How much oil was your corolla burning? I have a friend with a Civic that has 300k and it burns a lot of oil.

    Firestone Destination LE2

I've had Michelin and then tried the LE2s on my Toyota Venza and are happy with the LE2s so far. I forget which model Michelins they were (might be obsolete), but weren't very good in the snow/ice. I haven't had the chance to try the LE2s in heavy snow and ice, but so far, wet, dry and light...
