this has to be just in my head, but does anyone feel they get less MPG with costco compared to Shell or Chevron? maybe i just slam the pedal more because it is cheaper lol.
thankfully only about 1.5mi from home so i always turn around and come back later, just wondering if i'm being nuts being that it is 2021 and not the 1980s.
is this an old wives tale or legit? i go to costco gas a lot in the evenings and the tanker truck is frequently there, is it bad to get gas while the truck is there or is this just a ridiculous myth? my thinking is that costco goes through so much gas that it is fresh and i would assume costco...
any update on what the new 5w-30 is and where it is available? 10k mile service and they put in the 0w-30 FE for me again, and i am in california so it isn't a climate issue. does the new 5w-30 (castrol) exist and where? thanks.

I hope there is no difference between LL-01 and LL-01 FE as these oils list "LL-01".
There is difference.
anyone do any oil analysis to determine how much difference? in street vs track etc?

great thanks, S55 is already a thirsty little [censored] for a six....hopefully not more than 1mpg for the 5w-40 pennzoil extra protection LL-01 probably worth it to me.
so the FE is just for some CAFE regs and LL-01 without the FE probably protects a little bit better at the expense of a tiny bit of fuel consumption? am i getting this right?
