Was punishing myself with breathing, breath holding etc to build mental resolve.
O2 normally high 90s, got it to under 50 one day (geld my breath for over 4 mins to get there 'though)
Detroit 60 used in stationary application.
Suffered severe spark erosion on crank and lower main halves.
Erosion is linear, indicating that the shaft was at rest when it happened.

1997 I was commissioning and MDF plant....a lot of the drives were multiple v belt (I hated them from uni days), and the motors were star delta...started on star, 415 volts in star fashion switching to 415 across each phase at speed....
If the belts weren't perfect, the change would be met with...
