I replaced the lower intake manifold with a ported & polished piece. I also replaced the throttle body with a ported unit. When I did the Lower Intake Manifold, I also removed the valve covers, and painted them. I did replace the valve cover gaskets as well.

    UOA M1 0W40 5160 mi 04 Chrysler 300M Special

Here is the first analysis of my 2004 300M Special. I had done a couple of oil changes on it prior to this sample. The older information is from my 1999 300M which was totaled in February. Anyhoo, here it is... Any thoughts??

ATF-4 is it all the same??

I have used Valvoline, and Castrol. Both of which are good choices. There are other brands (AAP for one) that makes an ATF+4, however none of them state that it is a Full Synthetic like Castrol, or Valvoline does. That is the reason I stick with one of them for my 300M.

Synthetic vs. Dino Diff Fluid Change - 04 Chrysler

This is on a 2004 Chrysler 300M Special. 42LE Transaxle My guess is that it is an RTV sealant (seeing how Chrysler uses it in most gaskets)

Synthetic vs. Dino Diff Fluid Change - 04 Chrysler

Group, I have read (and heard) that the diff's in our cars require Dino Diff Fluid due to the seals in the diff are not compatible with synthetic fluid. I ran synthetic diff fluid in the 99 forever with no issues. When I got the 04, I originally put synthetic (Mobil 1) 75W90 in it. I changed it...

I wonder if you could buy that, then ship it to the states for those that are interested? Although the costs would he quite high I am guessing.

    M1 HM 10W30 vs. M1 0W40

Group, Over the weekend, I did some work to my car that for safety's sake, required me to change the oil. I did have M1 high Mileage 10W30 in the car (all WalMart had at the last OC. This weekend, I was at a parts place, and didn't feel like going to Wally World, so I got 5 qts. of M1 0W40. I...

    Regular M1 10W30 vs. High Mileage M1 10W30

The person that owned this car prior to me didn't take very good care of the mechanicals of the car...it was a leased car. I changed the plugs @ 28k...and they were a wreck. My guess is from running regular unleaded in the car when it calls for premimum. So, I am giving it a good Seafoam...

    Regular M1 10W30 vs. High Mileage M1 10W30

Group, I am going to do an oil change this weekend on my 2004 300M Special. I am going to do a seafoam treatment, then do a engine flush....I wanted to get M1 10W30, but the local WalMart only had the M1 High Mileage 10W30. I am assuming that the only difference is the additive pack. Is this...

    M1 5W20 4658 miles 2006 Ford Focus ZX4 SES

I plan on going on to longer intervals, starting with this run. I am going to 5500 miles like suggested. Eventually, I want to go to 7500 miles. I don't want to switch oils then, this is what I plan on running until the car hits the grave.
