    NAPA silver oil filters

I guess the Silvers are gone forever. Unless anyone’s heard different.

I tell ya, if it weren’t for pickpockets I wouldn’t have a sex life.

I once wanted to go ice skating on the pond out back of our house. My dad told me to wait until it got warmer.

    Oil Filters: Mobil 1 M1-203 vs M1-107A(?)

I think that’s the correct direction, DuckRyder. Dimensionally the 206A looks closer to the old 203. The M1-203 was perfect for the application: why’d they discontinue it?

    NAPA silver oil filters

Right you are. The standard price for a Silver filter at NAPA was usually $3.99. Normally I waited for their numerous sales and would pick up say, 4 for $10 when they went down to $2.50 apiece. Decent filters: good, not great. A 5000, perhaps 7500 miles OCI.

    NAPA silver oil filters

True. But where’d they go? There were often some cool $2.50 deals on those. They were decent; maybe on par or a little better than Fram Extragard. No paper end caps anyway.

    Oil Filters: Mobil 1 M1-203 vs M1-107A(?)

Got a 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood; was able to find the Mobil 1 M1-203 previously. Is the M1-107A its replacement? Can’t seem to find a straight answer to this. Thanks.

    NAPA silver oil filters

Has NAPA discontinued many or all of their Silver oil filters? I can’t seem to find them anymore for the cars for which I used to purchase them. Only seeing Gold and Proselect for the most part. And they’re still selling Baldwin and K&N.

    Vitour tires: reviews or comments/opinions?

So by "Summer Tire" I take it mostly this indicates just a tire that does better without ice and snow(?) No need to actually swap them out in Fall or Spring..? What do people think? And any further thoughts on the Vitours?

    Vitour tires: reviews or comments/opinions?

Yes skyactiv -- with the distinctive center block tread it almost reminds me of some Yokohama tires that I've had in the past. Likely this is a "fair weather tire" outside of the Summer if you live in a climate that gets any snow or ice. I'm in Boca Raton, Florida so it should not matter...

    Vitour tires: reviews or comments/opinions?

I (if nothing else) like the look of the Vitour Galaxy R1 tires with the wide whitewalls. They would suit my old Cadillacs in P235/70R15 and P225/75R15 perfectly. And they have an "A" traction and temperature rating. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they really just 'Summer' tires...

Yokohama Geolander A/T G015 or snow tires?

Nokian seems like a great tire from what you've said and what I could read. Thanks for the suggestion. Why doesn't TireRack sell that brand? Actually they don't have a few respectable brands. Wish I could get Kelly-Springfield as a selection there also. Oh well.
