Is that Leichtlauf or Molygen?

The Supertech is working great in your engine. I would just switch to the high mileage version.

I also noticed fuel economy wasnt great with off the shelf 229.5 5W40 oils. It improved significantly with an application of MoS2, so I throw a can in every oil change. The MoS2 also makes cold starts a lot quiter. Compression is great on the engine, I just have bad valve stem seals.

I have the same 06 E350 with 240K miles. Off the shelf 229.5 oils burns like water and smokes out the tail pipe in it. The more premium stuff works a lot better: Liqui Moly Leichtlauf 5w40/Molygen 5/40 with a can of LM Oil Saver. Much slower burn rate, nothing out the tailpipe. The high mileage...

Show me an LL01 oil with an almost 15cst... These are all excellent oils as they wouldn't have approvals from the best car manufacturers in the world if they weren't. All the UOA's are going to be statistical noise in similar applications so i dont worry about UOA's. Its the little things...

Its been in Australia for a while actually. We won't get it here just like we dont get Maxlife Full Synthetic 5w40 which has been around in Europe and Australia for many years...

This oil is far from average oil. Used it may my Mercedes and its smoother and gets significantly better MPG than all shelf oils I've tried over the years. Nothing in 5w40 matches the uncanny creamy power delivery and MPG of this oil. Currently have Valvoline 5w40 in right now. Though im assured...

LM Leichtlauf 5w40 is approx 13.5 KV100. All the 229.5, Porsche A40, 5w40 oils had to thin down to meet BMW's new LL01 requirements. They all shear down into the 11's after Approx 2.5K miles. They all have the same behavioral characteristics. This is normal and a very good UOA. There are no LL01...

Got a car that requires a 229.5 5w40 euro oil. I've used Maxlife full synthetic 5w30 for 2 and a half years. Ran well, engine didn't blow up and now has almost 240K. R&P 5w30 would be perfectly fine though I wish we could get the R&P 10W40 like they do on Australia...

I chose it because it has the best uoa results of all 5w40's based on my research...

I currently have this oil in my old Mercedes. The seals hate it. I'm leaking and burning oil, smoke out the tailpipe, etc. Tons of blow by. This hasn't happened with the other A40, 229.5 oils I've used. I'm adding up to a quart a month or so in a car i don't drive that often... ..
