What type of pistol holster do you use?

WavinWayne: I PM'd you. For the benefit of others I like my 36 but still prefer the 19 due to accuracy, reliabililty, comfort, and capacity. To me it comes close to the ultimate carry pistol.

What type of pistol holster do you use?

My G19 and G36 get the Don Hume IWB Holster unless I have a jacket on. I use a Fobus for OWB. I like both for their retention and secure feeling when carrying.

    I hate our SL2!

I was gonna say ekpolk: I bought a Toyota Tundra new in 2001 and all I've done is change fluids, front brake pads, and 4 new tires. Not bad eh?

Jiffy Lube scam video hits digg.com

And my neighbors think I'm nuts for doing my own oil changes and maintenance. Guess I get the last laugh !

how much would this beater sell for?

Geez ! ! You guys are being awful tough on this poor guy ! That car looks better than 90% of the cars around here. I'd buy it in a heartbeat for seven or eight hundred bucks as a "work car". It's been maintained and so what if its a salvage title? Give it a good look-over and if it drives well...

Using it in a 2005 Toyota Sienna. 5K oil changes. No complaints or problems.

    FL820S at Wal-Mart?

I use this filter exclusively on my 05' Mustang GT. Every Wal Mart I have been in carries them. Whether or not they are in stock is another question...........

    Hardest filter to Change????

2001 Toyota Tundra. Easy to reach, but have to take the darn skid plate off to avoid a weeks worth of drips in the driveway. My personal worst ever: 1987 4 cyl Grand Am.

    Walmart Synthetic

I'm using it in my wifes 3.3L Toyota Sienna. The vehicle gets aggressive driving in 100 degree temps here in Deep South Texas. I do not plan on having it analyzed....but X72's report was fantastic. I change at 5K intervals with a mixture of SuperTech or Purolator filters. So far so good !

    Walmart Synthetic

Do a search on this forum. I did the same because I'm using it now as a "trial" in my wifes Toyota. My search showed it is a "synthetic" just like Castrol Syntec. Not what most would think as a "true" synthetic such as Mobil, Amsoil, etc. Some even indicated it might have a weak additive pack...

Is this a good thing for tranny?

I would not recommend putting any automatic in neutral while waiting at a stop-light. In a static state such as a light, nothing is really moving inside there....just the pump and 1/2 of the torque converter. By shifting, a WHOLE BUNCH of parts have to move....and every time they move you take...

    Power Steering Fluid Change Method

I have a 69' Chevrolet C-10 pick-up which is in dire need of a power steering fluid change. I've read here the many ways of flushing fluid. Now, understand this truck has the ole' Saginaw pump and steering gear...NOT rack and pinion. It holds much more fluid. I had an idea I would like to run...

GM to Install Engines From China

I haven't seen anything mentioned here about what I value in a vehicle beyond the basic Quality / Reliability requirements: Resale value.

Where does engine noise come from?

My guess is that most of the noise on my vehicles from the ENGINE, (not assessories), is valve train and fuel injectors.
