I absolutely love station wagons and hatchbacks! They offer the very best versatility and utility of any format, they definitely beat all these new “suv” crap on the road!
Was it only one change with the 5w30 or has that been what it’s been using for the bulk of those miles, really it doesn’t matter and I’d feel comfortable running either of those weights.
I have a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe with the 3.0 V6 that is at 190,000 miles as of today! Using Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 synthetic and Mobil 1 or Wix filters. I just changed the timing belt and water pump last month and I have no doubt that this little gem will last me at least another 100,000 miles...
The V6 timing belt changes are really not that bad of a job, I just did the timing belt and water pump on my 2001 3.0 V6 for the 2nd time! I realize there have been some changes to these these engines over the years, but for the most part it’s pretty much the same basic engine.
