I have used RP in many applications and it has always worked well for me.

I replaced the intake gasket on my 98 gmc, about 5 months ago. I am waiting to do a UOA to see if it is fixed. Luckily, a new gasket was only 50 bucks.

I have a Kimber sporterized M-96 mauser in 6.5x55 and I love that old gun. The long .264 bullets have great sectional density and a great BC. One of these days I am going to get a 264winmag.

I don't have any unusual start-up noise with any filter that I have used......wix, amsoil, mobil 1, OEM.
