Yeah the SDS changed when rislone took over. It says something about other ingredients being a trade secret. But I highly doubt they've changed the formula. No reason to do that. Also yes it is still made by the same manufacturer. It makes no difference that the company merged with Bars and Rislone.
I was thinking along the same lines. If group 2 can be labeled synthetic why wouldn't other companies do so for synthetic blends like Valvoline maxlife red bottle etc

So I wouldn't gain anything from using synthetic if I'm going to change at 5k? The benefits of synthetic are running longer intervals only or would I get better protection even during a shorter interval?
