Yes IX is Iridium center electrode and just a standard ground. Where as Laser Iridium is center Iridium with either a platinum or Iridium pad on the ground for gap preservation.

Platinum would be a step down, but still good.

SuperTech from Walmart is as good as any off the shelf motor oil. It's the same oil Costco and Amazon sells from Warren Distributing. A well known quality product.

SuperTech is a great oil. Your engine would be the problem.

Maintenance is the key. Regular fluid dump and fills every 25,000 to 30,000 miles , which is as simple as can be, and you'll be fine. There is a cartridge filter in the warmer that I change about every 40,000 miles. 135,000 miles and zero issues.

It's been two or three years , so far so good. No noise at all.

FYI, there is always a RockAuto code available. When ever one is needed just Google for the code and you'll find the current one.

Octane is just rating for resistance to preignition in high compression engines. If you don't need it you're just wasting money and most cars don't need it. As far as cleaning valves it will do nothing in a GDI as the fuel does not contact the valve stem as in conventional EFI systems.

Run from anything from China. You'll be screwed more often than not. Why consider buying from the enemy?
