1966 327 Flat Tappet Valvoline Restore and Protect?

TBH I kinda miss the days of carburetors! Yes, FI has better performance and reliability overall, but I never really had any problems with carbs made in the 80s and later. The 60s carbs were a little more finicky and needed more love. My suggestion would be to explore a new intake/carb setup...

Using Impact Sockets only for 3/8” and 1/2” dr

I am not a pro so take this with a grain of salt. I usually carry both impact and chrome sockets from the toolbox to the car. I use the impact sockets to remove and loosely tighten the nuts/bolts. I use chrome sockets on the torque wrench for the final turn. In reality I could switch the socket...

    Oil change in parking lot

I grew up in a small town that had a relatively tall curb with a large storm grate next to it. Lots of people seemed to like it until they dropped the drain plug (the nearest parts store was in the next town)! FAFO

    New tool thread

That is one reason i adopted Ryobi...lots of tool options from inflators to impacts to lawn equipmemt, etc. And it's more than enough power/durability for DIY use. If you end up opting for the Ryobi edger and depending on how often you plan to use it, it may be worth considering a battery...

Its the blade version and looks like this. I already had a few ryobi tools so this was not a separate battery platform. Else I would have chose one that fits my batteries.

    New tool thread

The choice of edger depends on how much you need to edge and how often. I have the Ryobi 18V stick edger and it works fine; it would be a little too weak for big jobs but I currently have a single lot in a cul de sac (driveway, short walkway, and curb) so it is sufficient. My last house would...

    Best air filters these days?

Yes I have one in the Cadillac right now. They are great but usually not the best value unless you find them on sale.

    Best air filters these days?

I have used Carquest Premium, STP regular and premium, Denso, Wix, Ecogard, and EP Auto. All sealed perfectly and performed well.

I don't know about these particular ones, but other stores' buckets are pint sized. Get it? :D

Okay, maybe a slight overstatement! But many people feel they are "above" doing physical labor.

"Work wear" is for people who do physical work. That excludes about 99% of Americans, yet many of these same individuals criticize others for being lazy...

People actually buy denim shorts? I thought those were DIY like the OG Daisy Dukes (?)

That, sir, is the $billion question! Some companies certainly approach their practice that way, with absolutely no regard for long-term stability. Our task is to figure out which ones take the opposite approach, before we waste $$ on crappy products.
