Hate to charge direction after all the replies, but would 5w-40 be better suited? My 23 Camry that calls for 0w-16 will likely see 0w-20 for the test of it's life. I feel the 0w-16 is for epa cafe standards. Does this apply to 3/4 to trucks since they don't have listed EPA mileage estimates?

Well I'm around 700. I may change it today. I have some Motorcraft semi-syn. I can use. I'll probably order some amsoil for the next change. Did you change rear/ front diffs, transmission, and transfer case to amsoil as well?

It's my understanding these transmissions run over 180 degrees. Pretty common to see higher temps i thought, but i haven't towed with it yet
