    Yeah, as i recall there was a recent rash of ford OEM ecoboost chains for 3.5 stretching in a couple of thousand miles. That is at least 2,000 to replace that.

    I really like my ASP Akebono pads on my daily driver. Great cold performance and they last a long time. For my fun/weekend cars? EBC Hawk or whatever gives me the best stopping power at the cost of everything else.

    This is why also independent shops prefer brand x becasue its the brand that screwed them over the least amount and they are nearby for returns and can send their driver out.

    Sawzall blades when with the best tooth count and metallurgy get chewed up by the very very hard stud. Also not enough space for a sawzall.

    Returning the part? This is a huge pain in the butt, dealing with rock auto return process is not pleasant. I need a working car and my ball joint was gone and it was eating my tire like a fat kid at a willy Wonka chocolate factory. I reused the old hardware. I work 6 days a week, I have a wife...

    Also apparently the only way to get my type of steering shaft is to get one from Ford for 500 bucks. I feel some kind of way about this.

    Mevotech ttx was supposed to be better than oem. Any way I just got a call back from mevotech, they told me to call rock auto becasue that's where i bought it. Rock auto will want to do a return. So basically im screwed. Reused the old hardware lesson learned

    OEM part was 500 dollars. Aftermarket was 100. Its a decade old daily driver.

    There was no hexagonal dimension. There was only a rusty round knob becasue road salt.
