    '00 Saturn SL2 - 4104 - 37,184 on AC Delco 5w-30

I have owned or maintained a number of S cars over the years. My experiences with the 1.9L S series motors has been all the older ones had ring issues no matter what oil schedule you followed. Early on with my 95, I tried Mobil 1 as Saturn recommended and it did not seem to help. The 2000 - 2002...

Nothing very exciting here. A friends car that I maintain and this is its first UOA. It's the 1.8 2ZR-FE motor. It has had a steady diet of ASM 0W20 and Wix filters since factory fill was drained at about 4k miles. The car sees mostly city and secondary roads. The computer reported average speed...

Thanks for the post, I think it looks pretty good for a FF. You said you rode it for an hour - sedately? I think you will see good results with Amsoil's 10W40 in your Kawasaki - it's all I use in my two wheelers.

I have not seen either an M1 or Purolator for this motor. Like yourself, Pablo, I have no science behind it but my concern is the filter material holding up for more than a couple of years. Having had some nice weather this year for commuting, maybe I can get 8-10k miles in over two years on...

Been sitting on this data from 3 samples for a couple of months - time to share. Latest sample: The oil went into service in Aug 2008. It saw 3 months of service, 5 months of winter hibernation, 7 months of service in 2009, 5 months of winter hibernation, and then finally 3 months of service...
