From Reading the ASTM D-1401reports for both oils does the 30 at the end of the report for royal purple on the data sheet mean 30 minutes for water to boil off?

Amsoil Compressor Oil SAE 30 - 5 minutes
In the real world how significant is the extra 25 minutes for the moisture to dissipate? Does royal purple...
I did not understand the significance of all of the items I read above. However the synthetic purple oil did cite the following; "• Rapidly separates from water"
Would it be correct for me to interpret that as allowing the water to Boil off at a rate faster than other Oils would do therefore...
I have a 2 stage air compressor I use an 30 wt. Non-detergent oil. Is there another oil or even a synthetic that would help the oil and lubrication so it would not pick up so much moisture.
I know the problem would be alleviated if the compressor was used more but that's just not the case. I...

What is stated above is exactly what I was told by Bilstein. They said left unloaded the seals could be damaged.
I think it’s possible that the car only needs a good alignment and corner balance. That is if the toyota in question has the proper range of adjustability to corner balance and align.
Your friend’s problem is most likely caused by improper vehicle static corner weights.
Car needs to be setup...

The oil is Motul 25W50 300V Compotition racing.
I am going to just stay with 93 octane 100% gasoline, that seem to be fine for my car.
The owner's manual even states car can operate on octane as low as 90 octane since the engine's" Electronic Oktane knock control" will adapt the ignition timing if necessary.

Where do they sell gas in 5 gal cans?

Sunoco is selling non leaded gas in I think 5 gallon cans. They have 100 and 110 octane if I'm not mistaken. My car calls for 93 octane and that is what I have been using, that is 100% gasoline, no ethanol.
I was wondering if I would benefit from higher octane? Or would the higher octane be...

I don't know if it makes any difference but there is no pan. It is a dry sump motor with an oil...

Doug,
By using the oil temperature gauge. It has hash marks on it and by the position of the needle you can get a very good estimate. That said I don't know offhand where the oil temp sensor is located...

I like the 11s more than the 202, despite it being 'older', due to slightly superior specs.

I don't know about the specs. being better, but I can say I...
