I used it in few flat tappet engines, I used the Red-line BI add too. Both seemed OK, RL was easier for me to get though.-RD

For out of the box accuracy you'll find it a real tough job to beat a Savage. I have a few, I built one into a nice switch barrel rig. With a little know-how, and a good lathe you can work wonders with a Savage. I love'em, I pay a little more and get the stainless steel rifles. They're real easy...
