Good ways to sell or trade a gun ?

Gun stores will low ball big time, like one third of actual market value. Selling on Gunbroker is easy and a nice Pre-lock S&W 686 will fetch a premium price with multiple bids. Plus there are seller protections and won't have to deal with the Craigslist types on Armslist. Just make sure to...

    rate my craigslist ad

Market values have many variables; color, condition, location, time of year, etc. Better to be a little over market value and be flexible, then to lose money under pricing. Dealers most always inflate asking prices then adjust as necessary. Market price is what the item actually sells for on...

    rate my craigslist ad

The "$4000 Firm" would be a deal killer for me unless the price was a major bargain. Plus, the "no texts" and other conditions mean the seller is probably not someone I want to do business with anyway. When I've got something for sale I'm more than happy to be contacted about it and I don't...

If their Value Power batteries are East Penn built, i.e. no vent caps. then I would give one a try. The Walmart higher warranty batteries are double the price of the Value Power for a couple of years extra warranty and slightly higher CCA. I wish I could get one in group 34 size.
