Weird that they would spec both then. And Amsoil Gl-5 is what seemed to be popular with the tc's. Looks like the smart thing to do would be just drain and fill with 100% Gl-4... I hate expensive mistakes. Thanks everyone. Anyone need .5 qt of Gl-5? Lol

I believe it specifies Gl-5. That's what the scion forum guys are using and all of the 3 fluids that Amsoil recommends for my car are Gl-5. And by MTG, you mean just their "regular" gear oil? I still have half a quart of the long life so id like to get something at...
