For a GM 6L80, a single-disk won’t require a tune, they’re basically OEM replacements.
A triple-disk will require a tune, which I was able to do myself via HP Tuners for a billet Circle D converter I had installed.
Perhaps your transmission is similar…what did Circle D say?

My Toro ZTM manual says max throttle when cutting. My previous Hustler ZTM said the same.
