    Banks differential covers

I really think you need to test your axle lube temperature under your operating conditions. If high lube oil temps were killing axles the OEMs would have warranty issues. If it were my truck it would almost certainly have the OE cover with good lube. And I would break in the gears completely...

Ram Hemi hydraulic lifter failure...oil related?

No, the cloud cars were mostly the 2.4 l version of the Neon engine.

To be Honest, Thinking of Selling Motorcycle and Quitting Riding

I sold my bike a week ago as I'm no longer willing to risk my life in traffic. The final straw was one of my kid's 19-year-old cousins was killed when an old lady turn in front of him. A friend getting knocked of his bike and run over a couple years ago also was a factor.

    2018 F150 5.0 15k miles; PZ 5w-20 5k miles

I didn't quite laugh when the JIffy Lube tech claimed the oil was only good for 3k, but did say that there was strong evidence to the contrary. It's $25 more to go from conventional Pennzoil to a semi-synthetic plus the additional 3.8 quarts to fill the sump. The Napa oil analysis cost me...

    2018 F150 5.0 15k miles; PZ 5w-20 5k miles

This is my work truck so it goes to Jiffy Lube where I watch them do the work. They like to tell me the conventional Pennzoil is only good for 3k miles so I had it analyzed. Truck has 15k total, oil was in use for 5023 miles. Metals (ppm) Iron (Fe) 13 Chromium (Cr) Lead (Pb) Copper (Cu) 3...

    Far Side

I have this on a T-shirt. I used to wear it under my racing suit for good luck.

    Frame rust and broken

If that were mine I'd at least attempt a fix. I would get out my sand blaster and clean the frame. Then I'd cut a patch of 11 gauge or thicker, not quite the height of the frame and long enough to go a few inches into the frame kick-up. I would slot it to fit around the body mount and drill some...

Evening-out plug wear on waste-spark DIS systems

Install double-platinum plugs and forget about it. Then you can mentally massturbate about something more fun.

Looks good. I'm assuming the vehicle is an F350 rather than F53? What lube are you using?

Terrible luck with motorcycle chain longevity.

Do you see the lines running across the rollers? That means they aren't round any more. The rollers are junk along with the rest of the chain. DID X-ring chains are worth the money as are good steel sprockets. Originally Posted By: Reddy45 Pic of the red dust from my chain. You can see how...
