Questions on using a fuel cleaner

Thanks! That's kinda what I though. I've read here that E10 is dry or lacking in lube, so to run a cleaner with lube to help out.

Questions on using a fuel cleaner

From my post below on ethanol fuel cleaners, have some questions. Was posted that if you are using E10 to run your tank out. Why? Around town I would fill my tank at the half-empty mark so that I always had half a tank just in case. Whenever I would take a major road trip, then I would run...

Seeing more fuel cleaners specifically to counter the effects of ethanol gas. STP, Lucas, and one from Stabil. Any thoughts or ideas if they actually do anything?

    Question about gas pricing

Yike, my mistake. Regular, 87 was more expensive than midgrade, 89, by like 10 or 15 cents. And 91 was the most expensive. Sorry for the mix up. I guess they are still highly subsidising ethanol then. From what I remember you get 10% or more higher MPG using pure gas than the E10. So, it...

Just heard a radio ad for Sunoco E15...

My 2012 4runner will not allow E15. People with new vehicles are not going to realize it and pump it anyway and you're going to start seeing engines destroyed all across the United States. It is the goverments way (ie Obama) to force you to get a new "fuel efficent" car. This forces the...

    Question about gas pricing

I've got the gasbuddy app on my phone and am taking a trip from Texas to South Dakota and Minnesota at Thankgiving. In keeping track of fuel prices, I noticed that in Nebraska and South Dakota, that midgrade fuel (91) was running 10 cents to 15 cents cheaper than regular (87) fuel. I remember...

Pepboys now has Mobil 1 5W-30 ESP and 5W-40

Picked up 10 liters today. It's $6.99 a liter. The 5W-30 is a one liter bottle. Meets MB 229.51, so will work in the 3.0L Jeep Diesel that I have. Dealer wanted $12 a liter for the stuff.

    Goodyear Fortera Silentarmour

My father-in-law is having me look at the Michelin LTX A/T2 tire. He commented that with my jeep to stick with something that would be good for off-road.

Anybody here run them or use it? Would be on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, P245/65 R 17. Curious to how they last and are in rain and light snow.
