    Chinese Tools

Heh, TooManyWheels' post about the Harbor Freight ball-joint press made me laugh. I actually *bent* two of those trying to get the ball-joints out of the knuckle on my '85 F150... I had also purchased the HF tie-rod remover; after few whacks, it also bent. Replaced it with a Craftsman and...

2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 Belt Replacement

I have the same car and engine, but an '02. I replaced the belts earlier this year; I actually removed the right front tire and jacked the car up to have better access. Like you, I was shocked to be having so much difficulty with the power steering/water pump belt. I loosened the locknut, but...

    Funny business slogans

There is a transmission repair shop (Metro Transmission) here in Columbus, OH with the following slogan: "Get your shift together at Metro Transmission" I've seen it for years, but I still get a chuckle out of it!

    Yokohama Avid TRZ???

I have these on my 2002 Nissan Sentra, P185/65R14 tire size. About 6,000 miles on them so far. The Avid TRZ has outperformed the prior two set of tires (Dunlop SP20 and Goodyear Regatta 2) that I've had on the car. They are especially good in the rain; they are the first tires I've had on this...

    I got the fever

I own a 2002 Sentra GXE (1.8L). The headgasket on mine began seeping (externally) around 42,000 mi. Replaced under warranty, but given how small the leak was, I bet there are plenty more of these driving around out there with the same problem. Sounds like you lost the "fever" already, but...

    2001 Nissan GXE questions

Hi BubbaP! I have a 2002 Sentra GXE (1.8L). 1.) Nothing to grease on the front end, at least that I'm aware of. 2.) When I first got the car, I was shocked to learn about the 2 7/8 quart sump. Plus the filter looks like something that should be on a riding lawnmower. I haven't done a UOA or...

Almost 11yrs for a car battery..?

    Birds, no respect

I also am stumped as to how they get their "stuff" under the eave. Laser-guided targeting system? My car (at the time one year old) got bombed once by what had to be a goose in mid-flight distress. Could have hit the 20 year old truck right behind it, but nooooooo that would have been too easy...
