In a modern car, no difference at all. The computer will run through its startup sequence and engage the compressor when it is ok to do so. In an older car, the assumption is that the compressor engaged could make it harder to start. I'm not sure if that's true or not, or that if it really matters.

The concern from OP was leaving the compressor and other items "ON" when starting the car the next time they go in to drive it.

The "No Spill" brand fuel spout is the best I've used of the new CARB rated spouts. It really is quite good.

Many off the shelf oils use similar anti-friction/wear additives in their formulation, just at slightly different proportions. I think the stripping of protective layers after an oil change is a minor concern.

My 2010 Town & Country 3.8L (130K miles) drank Mobil1 (1qt/1000 miles). Oil consumption was cut in half by switching to Castrol Edge. If I still had it, I would try Valvoline Restore and Protect, but it went to new owners a few years before Valvoline Restore and Protect existed.

Pull the plugs, put a shot of oil in the cylinders and crank it before you start it to get oil circulated throughout the engine. It will be fine.
