In a modern car, no difference at all. The computer will run through its startup sequence and engage the compressor when it is ok to do so.
In an older car, the assumption is that the compressor engaged could make it harder to start. I'm not sure if that's true or not, or that if it really matters.
I turn off wipers and AC. That's about it.
I figure that if the heat was on before, I'll probably need it the next time I start the car. Radio stays wherever it was, no problem there.
Newer cars are all computer controlled. No problem starting the car with the AC still "ON". The car will...
Many off the shelf oils use similar anti-friction/wear additives in their formulation, just at slightly different proportions. I think the stripping of protective layers after an oil change is a minor concern.
I'm running the Toyota OEM filter on my 2024 Rav4 (same engine as in both your cars). I get them at the local dealership for less than similar filters from Walmart. They also throw in a new oil plug crush washer.
I change oil and filter every 5000 miles and the oil looks rather clean still. I'm...
My 2010 Town & Country 3.8L (130K miles) drank Mobil1 (1qt/1000 miles). Oil consumption was cut in half by switching to Castrol Edge.
If I still had it, I would try Valvoline Restore and Protect, but it went to new owners a few years before Valvoline Restore and Protect existed.
Some users have reported increased oil use on the first one or two intervals of Valvoline Restore and Protect before consumption lessons. Nobody is sure why it happens, but the consensus is to stick with Valvoline Restore and Protect and consumption eventually lessons during later oil change...

Since switching my Kendon single motorcycle trailer to the Traveler Marine & Off Road grease from Tractor Supply, I have towed the motorcycle trailer over 2000 miles at interstate freeway speeds.
I checked the hubs with my hand at each fuel stop and they were cool to the touch...
That's basically what I do. I have the little EU2000i inverter generator that I mainly use. I have a 30 amp inlet on my house going to a 6 circuit sub panel that I can switch from Line to Generator. It powers only the essentials. It works like a champ.
If I need to do laundry during a power...
