It kind of reminds me of trisodium phosphate. It was great for outdoor cleaning, but if you didn't manage to get it all off the surface then it became its own problem much to the same as automatic transmission fluid on a garage floor.

Not to mention oil life intervals will shorten as ethanol content increases. Its gonna clean away oil film much more aggressively than diesel or pure petrol. Then, if you look at the VOC content.. After they use the very things they don't want you to use to harvest this disaster there isnt...

It would take forever to get that oil up to temperature and once it got there, it would be tough to get it to go away. A balance needs to be found through application. I wouldn't race on 99.9% 0w20 oils and wouldn't drive two blocks on 10w60 to get more Budweiser 0.0 NA beer.
