    toyota owners

    1988 4Runner using 10w30 Chevron during the winter and/or 15w-40 Chevron Delo400 summer. I use only OE or Purolator filters. On sale at Kragen right now too. Got 294k miles and only "leaks" at the valve covers.

    P/S fluids

    Hi all, I have 2 vehicles. One needs type F fluid for its P/S and the other needs Dexron fluid. Do I need to use these specifically for each or can I use a good synthetic or a bottle that says "power steering fluid" w/ no reference to either type?

    so if ethanol increases octane, i guess the "new" fuel starts out at a *lower* octane rating. sorry, newbie q. The prices are still competitive with other major brands though. I would think it would be cheaper by using ethanol. And I dont see how you can outlaw a business logo like BP.
