Window AC styrofoam block always molds

would those tablets help out that are basically bleach tablets you drop into the condensate pan. Wondering if that would stop the styrofoam from absorbing all the water? Or you could see if you could spray the styrofoam with an anti-mold or anti-mildew solution to stop that..

    Cataract surgery - WOW!

I will add that there are different IOL (interocular lens) on the market just as there are many different tire brands and models. Should do your research before. Some eye surgeons have signed agreements with only one brand because that brand paid for most of the surgical equipment. Don't...

cheapest transport companies for selling a motorcycle to out of state

When I had to move the Harley, I rented a U-Haul, they have an awesome motorcycle trailer! And I've made the drive from Michigan down to Missouri before (without a bike), boring as heck, but can be done in about a day. it would be cheaper for the buyer to do that, even staying at a...

2013 Nissan Versa blower motor only blows on high

simple the part that controls the different voltages/speeds of the blower fan has died. @ClutchDisc as they said, it's the control module/resistor. The reason it works on only high is because without that resistor (resisting the voltage to slow the fan speed) you're at full 12volts.. full speed.

2007 Scion tC high oil consumption ~1qt/500mi

one more thing.. if your key is warped and breaking the face buttons on the fob side. there are cheap toyota blanks out there. You take the rfid chip out (heat gun, knife), keeping the orientation in the same direction, put it into the blank gluing it in. Once you take the battery cover off...

2007 Scion tC high oil consumption ~1qt/500mi

2007 Scion tC high oil consumption ~1qt/500mi

oh ya that pcv valve.. many tC owners back in the day tried aftermarket PCV and they never worked. Glad you found it! And yup, you're the higher part number, the engine design changed in 07, it was a modification year, and of course it resulted in those low tension piston rings and oil...

Ill keep that no-name brand in mind. I found some like that at amazon, just installed (can't remember the name) in my friend's 16 CX-5, quality and air flow seemed like the mazda brand filter.. and yep it was around $8-9. thanks!

RockAuto filters for my Pontiac Vibes

It's always like that isn't it? The old saying "If it's too good to be true..." I found that same thing at a Honda dealer. Had ordered up a new engine air filter, the one that came in from the warehouse had the old Allied Signal triangle logo printed on the air filter pleat! Allied...

2007 Scion tC high oil consumption ~1qt/500mi

ahh, thanks for answering my question. you know, I've seen the Toyota filters at Walmart and I've never seen the F1 there, I kind of felt sad, being left out of the "party" of all the Toyota filters there, lol. oh and you were saying about the filter.. with all you've done that could get into...

2007 Scion tC high oil consumption ~1qt/500mi

hey thanks for the update.. two things, was there a reason you used the yzzn1 oil filter instead of the bigger yzzf1 from Toyota? the yzzf1 is the filter that's for your engine. That's why the filter you removed was much bigger, it's copying the original. I've always like and appreciated the...

I think the Microgard cabin air filters are excellent at Oreilly. They're great if you need a filter right now and don't mind spending a little more than online. I have been testing out the no-name chinese cabin air filters from online, fraction of the price but still good for a cabin air...
