    Factory fill interval

Put me in the camp that recommends changing it before your trip. I would have changed it at 1K miles.

Lucas Synthetic / Z-Max Additive Showdown

Meh. I did subscribe to the channel, so I'll hopefully see some more videos and better judge the content. All this really demonstrated, to me at least, is that an engine run without oil might run longer if pre-treated with Lucas vs. Z-Max. Does this mean using Lucas vs. Z-Max will lead to...

    Come On, Really?

I do watch Scotty's videos, because they are short and usually entertaining. If they were longer, I wouldn't watch. Also his videos tend to be more for beginners. Eric the Car Guy is the best of the youtube mechanics I've found. I will watch and enjoy his long-form videos The others, like...

Can Marvel Mystery Oil be used reliability?

I would do whatever the major ~60K service interval requires. Timing belts (if any) water pump, all fluids (especially transmission/differential), grease chassis, etc. It's what I do on used cars I buy - should be all you'd need to do. How are tires, brakes, battery, etc.? Do all that stuff...

Mobil 1 0w40 to become factory fill on Corvettes

I wonder where Chevy got their inspiration for the design from? Or is it just me?

MaxLife ATF impressions after a few thousand miles

My cars are old, but well cared for and in great shape. Have done two drain and fills (so far) in each with Maxlife (don't know what fluid came out). The Acura seems to have improved. Quieter (less clunky) engagement into and out of drive, and smoother shifting. The Honda was quiet and smooth...

1992 Honda Accord (minty condition) 150,000 miles. Out - dealership dino/unknown type (after about ~500 miles) In - Penzoil Platinum High Mileage 5w30 and genuine Honda A01 Oil Filter. So far sounds great, no valve train ticking or noise what-so-ever (didn't have it previously).

    No Crank - No Turnover

You more than likely need a new battery. How old is it?

    Slick 50

We didn't have the internet back then to easily do research and debunk these kind of claims. I remember my dad fell for it too, and he's a smart guy.
