Walmarts not carrying Mobile 1 0W40

There are three walmarts within a reasonable drive for me and non of them carry 0w-40. I have Amazon prime and they sell 6 quarts for $49. Is that my best option. Has anyone had luck getting their walmart to carry a specific oil? Do any of the auto parts stores come close to walmarts pricing...

    1/2 qt Mobil 1 Racing 0w30

Its $20 shipped for a quart. Used as an oil treatment on a 6Qt sump 1/2 a quart is all that is needed to get the phosphorous up +100ppm, which given SN 0w20s are in the 600ppm range for P, seems a reasonable way to spend ten bucks.

    Rental Review: 2012 Toyota Yaris

'09 Yaris. Steering feel is dangerous, couldn't keep it on the road. Added bigger Xd wheels and a TRD suspensons helped the ride but not the steering. The 1.5L is bullet proof, many 500k mile examples, that plus the 35mpg makes it a for life 2nd car. I'd say it will outlast the fit if you can...

Many Synthetic Oils on Market are Conventional Oil

As a Che I like GrpIII, III+ beacuse they are still petroleum. What ends the life of an engine typically before anything else are leaks. Working with the auto industry nothing is as important as history, just cause an OEM paid a lab to show all their seals and gaskets are full synthetic...

    Oil for new Subaru FA20

I've been logging oil tempes in the 250F range driving the hilly area I live in. It seems this engine is common to have high head oil temps based on other user reports. With that info would a 0w-30 make more sense, maybe the Catterham blend ?

    1/2 qt Mobil 1 Racing 0w30

Anyone else see adding a half a quart of Mobile one racing 0w30 as being one of the better oil additives. Almost any oil is compatible with a 1/2 quart of another or else we would have to stay with the same oil for life. I'm going with 5 quarts 0w20 Mazda SN w/Moly and 1/2 quart Mobile one...

Toyota 1NZ-FE 1.5L Flat Tappet oil recommendation

Well this engine is a legacy engine. Those shins under the tappets are going to wear and we all know buying a shim kit from Toyota will be expensive 5 years from now. The engine was developed in the early 90's and is a workhorse that has carried over for 20 years. Many in 500k+ mi clubs but...

Walmart and Mobli 1 0/20 AFE

I was always taught you get what you pay for, not saying M1 0w20 is bad oil but its obviously $22.47/5Qt oil and Walmart is still making money on it. Surely an OEM like Toyota sells more oil than walmart yet their 0w20 still sells for $7/qt. Commonsense tells me that it costs more to build...
