    Save him from ZMax

A class action suit was filed against ZMax and they sent a notice to all buyers of the product between such and such a date. I was one! They said to expect a full refund of the purchase price in October '03. Kevin

    Oil filter cooler/collar?

I use one on my '94 Trans Am drag car. I have also removed the oil cooler to run the big block (2 qt)chevy oil filter. I put the cooler on around the bottom of the filter, in the air flow. These are based on the same principle as motorcycle, lawn mower, etc... cooling fins. To provide a place...

When I hit the big oil well...

...and build my refinery and additives plant, I'm gonna do it all perfectly so I can name my oil: 'PERFECT OIL' This will be so we don't have to discuss anymore about who's oil is 'BEST'!!! And to this I will build a plant that builds: 'PERFECT OIL FILTERS', so we can eliminate the oil...

    quaker state

Actually it's a deep seeded hate for the Quakers of hundreds of years ago that prevents people form using it! I used to run their 4X4 blend and was quite happy with it. Anything a religious organization makes MUST be good by Federal law HInk [ April 22, 2003, 05:53 PM: Message edited...

    Towing and Differential Heat

I use RP 85/140 in my dragcar, why? Because I still run the little rearend in it. If it seems extremely hot, see how much fluid is in it and as all above have said, check your vehicles specifications. Towing is HARDER on every component in your vehicle!

What oil for a Rolls Merlin ?

As a drag racer, I bow before the creature come to rule the automotive world! Didn't these things have T/C's on them, too?? I know some WWII airplnes used N2O, in a pinch. Just think... if you ever break the rearend, you just put the prop back on the front!! Get the prop with about 8 blades...

Supertech oil filter on my aux. trans fluid filter mount...

I ended up buying a NAPA Gold Transmission Fluid Power filter for my spin-on auxillary trans filter. I wrote Champion Labs and they said NOT to use their K&N oil filter as they have never tested it with trans fluid. I guess you should always use a filter designed for the fluid you are...

    royal purple

I just bought a 5 gallon pail of RP Racing 41 off of ebay for $81.51 or 4.07 a quart. It's a little heavier than I like but after talking to a tech at RP, he said it would hold up to the N2O shots a little better. HInk

Supertech oil filter on my aux. trans fluid filter mount...

Good idea or bad idea? This is on a drag race car so flow is important. Or... should I just not be so cheap and put another K&N on it?? FWIW I run Mobil 1 syn in my A4! Kevin

    Suitable Drag Race Oil?

Okay Pattyman... You talked me into it!! Actually I started using the juice last year. Little bitty 50 hits and all on an RPM on/off switch. I'm removing the 4.56 gears and reinstalling the 4.10 gears on a poor mans spool (Spiders welded). Gonna see some 10.8X's or faster this year on a 150...
