Are you on the "autism spectrum"? And if so, what are your + and - skills?

I have autistic tendencies. I went to Catholic school. If you acted in an "on the spectrum" way you got hit or pulled out of you chair by your ear, Then you had to spend 30 minutes standing in the closest. That was a time out after getting beat up. Regular time out should be fine (sarcasm). And...

    Mouse in the cabin!

The bait for a trap should be something that the mouse has to pull on and tug at for a guaranteed trigger. Tootsie Rolls work well. Chew a little to soften then conform it around the trigger. It works great after it dries. I've seen a mouse sit and eat peanut butter without setting off the trap.

Well I screwed up my yard in a big way today

Maybe a good soaking with water and Dawn dish soap, NOT the antimicrobial kind will help. The Dawn may help to wash the treatment off the blades of grass and help soak the treatment deeper into the soil. Dawn contains a heavy dose of surfactants that can loosen soil making it more penetrable.

Is there a type of grease that's compatible with plastic or nylon?

I was just adding general information to the pot. The best option is a silicone gel because of its wide ranging compatibility and availability.

Is there a type of grease that's compatible with plastic or nylon?

Usually it's the base oil compatibility that you look at. Silicone fluids are compatible with a wide range of plastics. Mineral oil base fluids are usually compatible with polyamide (Nylon), polyethylene and polypropylene are generally considered compatible. Remember that a lot of grease...

Is there a type of grease that's compatible with plastic or nylon?

Compatibility of petroleum grease with the pins will depend on what plastic the pins is. Silicone greases are actually gels using a silicone fluid usually thickened with a silica gelling agent. Silicone gels should be compatible with the pins but it would be good to know what plastic the pins...

    Schaeffer's 219 or 274?

If you're looking to consolidate to one grease, compare the PDSs. The molybdenum disulfide in the 274 may be beneficial to applications involving sliding contact and not beneficial (maybe even detrimental) to rolling element bearings. Comparing Four Ball EP Weld Points and Load Wear Indices and...

    Motorsports tapered roller bearing

You can calculate the requirements as long as you have the information. Once you know the requirements you can select a grease that is likely to improve bearing performance. Dn and NDm are not very high, 53200 and 91200, respectively. Operating temperature is an important factor calculating...

One grease for boat trailer and motorcycle trailer wheel bearings?

Your success still doesn’t mean that grease compatibility is limited to thickener and doesn’t have potential negative consequences. The primary method of testing grease compatibility starts with mechanical stability. This phase is looking at thickener compatibility. If the greases are compatible...

One grease for boat trailer and motorcycle trailer wheel bearings?

Running lithium in everything still doesn't address additive incompatibility. Probably the best approach is to use the same brand and product in everything.
