On those Recalls, can I have those fixed for free? Or is this for the original owners?

02' VW Jetta, 68k (No owners Manual). What to do?

That helped a ton :) I found http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3851335 So I guess I will be picking up some M1 0W-40 formula. I cannot afford the AMSoil which seems equal to M1, but I can find M1 and filters all over the place. Thanks gain guys.

02' VW Jetta, 68k (No owners Manual). What to do?

So I bought this car with 66k, already dropped 600miles onto it with new tires and so on. Getting 28mpgs. We drive it 30miles a day in Sunny California weather. So far it has been 50f outside and mornings are in the 30's Summer heat can jump to 100's/110's. I know VW has some 502.00xxx...

Do any oils have both BMW LL-01 and GM4718M?

Consider AMSOIL. https://www.amsoil.com/a/synthetic-motor-oil-engine-oil So far my Honda with it's 265,000 loves it and is still running strong as ever. Clutch on the other hand is not, but that is a different story.

    AMSOIL Ea Air Filters (EaA)

I did a search on this forum and other forums, but no one has posted any results/input. So, for the price which is far less than a K&N filter and has a 4yr, 100k mile warranty, I think I'm going to pick one up for my '02 Jetta. I just wish I could purchase it from a local store instead of only...

    Seafoam + MMO?

Will this cause any conflict when added in to gas tank? Just wondering if anyone tried? I added a little MMO to my tank, now I'm 1/8th to my next fill up and I want to know if it is safe to add the Seafoam on my fill up? Thanks.

how much MMO do i need to add ?

So with my little CRX, adding a full quart might have been too much? Also I used 10w30, was that sound?

how much MMO do i need to add ?

How much do I put in with a 4.25qt engine? I put a whole 1qt into my 1988 CRX DX and Quaker 10w30. Do I do the same for the 4.25qt Jetta? Thanks.

Thanks demarpaint. HTSS_TR: I believe they're either P175/65R-14 82T BSW Pirelli Cinturato P5, or P185/65R-14 86T BSW Pirelli Cinturato P5. 4/100 Is this bad, or good? Because I don't so much in the way of wheels. They're off my 1994 Geo Prizm which died because of Transmission failure

I figure another 100k. I've replaced the trans-axles, rear bearings, and soon the clutch. I've also found a replacement engine for when the time comes, but I want to keep this one alive as long as possible. Rebuilt engine for these 1.4's are dirt cheap. Sorry but I do not know what 'Butt dino'...

'88 Honda CRX-dx 258k miles. Trying to MMO change.

I remember when I started using MMO in the fuel that the car did idle smoother and was a tad more responsive. I also remember when I added 16 ounces of MMO to my oil I noticed a difference as soon as I drove the car out of the driveway. Don't get me wrong, I did noticed a jump in response...

She's riding a little high on 14", soon back down to 13" rims. 257k showing, but the speed-cable broke, so it should be 258k The Oil was a medium brown before I added MMO, and just now after taking the photo I noticed it is a dark black on the dip stick. So something is going on...
