Has anyone used Penzoil Ultra lv atf?? It says that it meets Ford's Mercon LV requirements but I can't find any specs on it (pour point, flash point, VI, ect.)
Gonna do a fluid change on my truck. Truck is a 2012 Ford F250. Ford recommends Mercon LV for the transmission, Motorcraft transfer case fluid, and 75W140 for the rear axle and 80w90 for the front but I'll probably use 75w90. Here is my dilemma, I live in Canada and its already getting to...

This oil doesn't need changing right away. Those recommending changing it out are doing a BITOG money flush...
I have one set of Dodge/Ford/GM dealers 3 hours away from me but they did not have the truck I was looking for. Plus, I don't know if I would trust buying any vheicle any of them have worked on, I've heard horror stories from all three from co-workers and friends.

Not sure yet. The dealer is out of my way for any of my travles so free stuff still wouldnt help. Maybe a $50 rebate to cover the price of my oil change (Canadian prices) plus letting them know im dissatisfied. They know my wife and I are going to be getting a 2018 Ford Expedition to replace our...

Wouldnt an in house made filter be cheaper...
Just traded my F150 for a used F250 6.2 gas from a Ford dealer. I traveled 14 hour (7 there and 7 back) to meet the sales manager (he traveled 4 hours to meet me and 4 hours back). He said they did an oil change when they got the truck. Add said it was up for 3 days but i never asked how long...
As you can see, the filter is still in the wrapper. I'm guessing the red spots are just bleed through from the dye?? Also, if you look along the bottom of the filter, the black stuff (glue??) is up quite high on the filter. I'm use to paper filters or cone aftermarket filters. Does this all look...
I didn't know they had a km/mi only settin, I'll have to check what it's set on. I generally only do 8000km oil changs because I follow the severe duty oil change interval in the manual. As for life left on the monitor, I can't remember exactly what it was at. I know it was in the 40s, and 43%...
This is the first oil change I have done on the truck since I have owned it.As far as I know, the truck was a local 2 year lease return so I would assume it was dealer maintained with a maintenance package. Usually they use Motorcraft semi-synthetic but maybe the previous owner actually used...
