4-5k should be fine with PYB. I always used to change at 3k with my last truck, just what I was always told to do. I'm upping that to 4k with my new truck (living dangerously, I know). I'm using PYB as well.

My answer to that question would be an emphatic NO.
Same here, not a chance. In fact, I'd go out of my way to help my engine last...
I put some PP 5w-20 in my Hemi truck and switched it out after about 1500 miles...just didn't like the noise. Put some 10w-30 PYB in and it was noticeably quieter. I don't do long OCI's anyways, so the PP was a bit much anyways. I'll just stick to the best dino oil and do 4k OCI's.
I believe I got shingles back when I was 22, at least that's what the doc thought it was. I thought I had another case coming just last week (29 years old now), but the initial irritation/bumps on my side went away after a couple of days. Back when I was 22 it was a really sensitive rash sort of...
Pointless to change from 5w to 0w unless it's in the winter months where you're starting you car at below freezing temps every day. It hardly gets below freezing here, I stick with 10w-30 all year round.
I ran the 15w-40 Mobile Delvac in my 2004 Hemi for over 100k miles with no issues...stared using it when I noticed the drivetrain getting a little noisy after 100k miles or so (you know those Hemis love to talk).

I use the XG10060 which is the smaller size filter that RAM calls for. I put on a XG2 once and it was not worth the hassle with the limited clearance down there...just much easier to use the smaller filter that RAM actually recommends and just bring it straight down when changing the oil.

I like how the 10w-30 keeps the valvetrain quieter in my two vehicles, versus the 5w-20 that I used before. I was using 15w-40 in my 2004 hemi truck during...
My Hemi says to use 5W-20 on the oil cap...manual says I can use 10w-30 in warm climates. So I will use the thicker oil for better protection. It rarely gets below freezing here, so really no need to use anything other than 10w-30.
My wife's Hyundai is the same...says 5w-20 on the cap, manual...
Well Ive been looking for a VOA and can't find anything except for one done 10+ years ago...and I assume formulation has changed since then. The old sample had very low moly, not much boron, and normal level of other detergents...didn't seem very impressive, certainly not a 200+ moly oil like...
