    Buying oil off eBay

I've done it many times. It's not counterfeit. Somehow they get it from Walmart.

    Watch Recommendations

Automatic watches are kind of cool just because they are. But keep in mind ....for automatic at like the $700 level. When it comes time to service it, which is inevitable. The service is like $300. So the watch is basically totaled. For my money, you either get a quartz which will work better...

    Watch Recommendations

I mean it's ridiculous. I wonder how much a 10-year battery costs? And the trouble to reinstall it. I have messed that job up before. There's a tiny rubber gasket etc. The store at the mall charges $40 to replace batteries. It literally is better to just buy another watch, I think.

    Where is the modern mini-truck?

Ford Maverick specs (esp MPG) are amazing. I walked around one at the dealership though and it looked tiny. And kind of strange looking. But still for pure function. I think it's very amazing.

Can you charge two batteries with one charger?

I do this with a trickle charger. I hook it up to the auxiliary battery, but there really is no auxiliary battery because the batteries are hooked together and function as one big battery. Also, my experience is that if you leave a trickle charger hooked up to car batteries, they tend to last...

Found old 2stroke oil how to dispose of.

If you know anyone who has a diesel, I think it should be fine to add to diesel fuel as a lubricant or additive. I had a 1989 6.2 Chevy Diesel and I would have definitely run it.

    Ford CEO traveled to China.

It just seems obvious that smaller electric vehicles are the future. No matter who likes it or not. I see people daily driving, Silverados and f-150s and even duallys sometimes. Not towing. Just driving to work. I do the math in my head. It's got to be.... $300 a month over what a basic commuter...

LSJr Motor Oil Geek on fuel additives

Generally, every time I visit AutoZone or O'Reilly's, they have one of the fuel additive products sitting up at the cash register two for the price of one or whatever deal. I don't really remember the brand. Sometimes Lucas, sometimes. maybe Chevron brand? I must have easily 6-8 of them sitting...

12-qt box (plastic bag in box) of Mobil Full Synthetic off ebay. Fraud concerns?

I decided that I don't really like the 12-quart box thing. It just adds a step of having to fill a jug from the box and then pour it into the crankcase. Added headache & mess. So I just order the normal 5-quart jugs off eBay and lately Mobil 1 has been available for under $25 shipped to my door...

LSJr Motor Oil Geek on fuel additives

It's always on sale for $7 a pop at your local auto parts store. It's not going to hurt anything. Who cares really

    Would you buy a hybrid?

Fair enough. No disrespect intended, there's just a lot of comments on this thread sort of implying politics or just being salty about hybrid technology. Haven't really kept up with which trucks do or don't have hybrid technology. But generally, I trust Toyota above pretty much any other...
