Amsoil Diesel Oil 5W-40 (Signature Series Max-Duty Synthetic)

Well I did another test on oil from my Titan - Cummins engine still around 2% fuel. So my guess that is due the regen system, as dumping too much fuel, and when truck is not on hwy, it doesnt burn all fuel. I did this test at 2800 miles, and just sent another one after oil change at 7200 miles.

What is happened with Black Stone oil testing , I send them sample and they told 10 days a wait time for the results? The Oil Analyzer did this in 2 days?

Yes that is one of the course for cracksfaht bearing. But its not just that, bad oil , failed injector , over torque as this engines never had attempt to produce so much power, Nissan did this on his own way so they bought all rights from Cummins. Cummins told me when I replace engine 1 they...

Retest came with 6% fuel delusion. So I will retest this in 3K miles and see the results.

Yes that is right I didn't think about, but during re-gen it will a noticeable increase power. That is kind a good explanation and would make sense. So I might have to reduce 5K to 6K oil changes, unless to get a "weight loss". I will do another 1K on this oil and to do a rest, another 2 K and...

Amsoil Diesel Oil 5W-40 (Signature Series Max-Duty Synthetic)

Unfortunately, it's very hard to say what is injector failing. The engine has no codes on fuel system as I checked with Autel. Not sure what is next. I have warranty from Zurich and it's covering fuel injectors. How I can make a case to replace injectors even no evidence on misfire? Any ideas?

Amsoil Diesel Oil 5W-40 (Signature Series Max-Duty Synthetic)

From oil testing - explanation of the results for the fuel in the system. "Because #2 diesel fuel typically has a viscosity of around 1.9-4.1 cSt at 40°C, which is thinner than a typical 15W40 engine oil with a viscosity of around 14.7 cSt at 100°C, fuel dilution reduces the engine oil's...

I put 2.5 gallons and add 2.3 qts . That is making a full. Maybe filter variations

Do you have similar engine ? Or you do think that is just a typical wear with diesels and fuel like winter diesel.

I called a lab and CS said same thing no sense so they will retest this. So if it s still bad I will take another oil sample and send to lab. That would be like about 1,000 miles oil

That is kind strange to me as viscosity is normal. Doesn't make any sense. and 8% of 13 qts is only 1 qt. So it's not line up with fuel and oil level. The half dipstick would be more like 20 % of fuel or 3 qts.

Too much fuel in the system!!! strange engine working very nice, maybe it cause by Hot shot? or bad winter fuel. I need to change a fuel station. Blow-by? I think that is problem of these engines, as people add more power = more fuel, that is leading even more fuel in the crackshaft

Priming the oil filter on a 6.7 Cummins and then screwing it on..

yes above min level, on my old engine, and new engine after 1500 miles was about half mark on dipstick
