Have you checked the price of used wheel covers lately?

Whenever I go to the driveway and see that my kids have lost another hubcap, here is where I go: https://www.hubcaps.org/ For many cars, they have what I presume to be a repainted OEM hubcap, or a fairly identical (minus the logo) replica. I have found that the replicas actually stay on the...

    Who's into base models?

I've always searched for base models on the cars I want. My latest purchase is a 2020 Toyota Sienna Base. Manual controls for both front seats. No power for side doors or rear door. It is missing the center console between the front seats, but I can drop a cooler in that spot for long trips...

Amazon employees in dismay over return to the office policy

If it never occurred to your former leadership team that an employee might rebel, they weren't in management very long or weren't very good at it (or some combination of both). In the end, this comes down to supply and demand. Dennis Rodman left Phil Jackson and the Bulls to take a vacation in...

    Windshield wiper reservoir fluid

OK. I tried Googling "PS 21". Can you tell me what that is?

Tenderloin dinner for two, with wine, under $29

@racer12306- I'm interested in how you use this method to get two levels of doneness. Are you putting the more rare steak on the stove later for the sear? Less time in the oven? I like my plate to look like a crime scene when the steak is put on it (rare). My wife is much closer to medium.

Tenderloin dinner for two, with wine, under $29

@GON- Great job with the meal! I just naturally default to putting steaks on the grill, but with cold weather coming, I'll be giving this method a try. Thanks.

    Garden Hose

Another vote for Craftsman hoses. I have seven of them. I purchased my first in 1989 and am still using it. They kink easily, but also come unkinked easily. I've never had to use the warranty, so I can't speak to what that looks like today.

    Home - Preventive Maintenance

I've had enough sump pump issues in my home (always at the worst possible time) that my maintenance routine is just to switch out the pump and switch every two years, regardless of how they're performing. I use a Sharpie to write the install date on that silly warning sticker on the cord. When...

    No more Fram at Wall-Mart??

I don't see anything online to suggest a Fram acquisition by AAP. I know that First Brands (formerly Trico) purchased Fram. https://www.aftermarketnews.com/trico-group-acquires-fram-and-autolite/ It was my understanding that Fram entered into an agreement with AAP that allowed for them to...

    What song did I Hear?

It doesn't help you in this instance, but when I hear a song I don't know, I just say, "Hey, Siri. What is this song playing right now?" It actually works well...

Suggestions on where to find a closeout of higher end LVT- style/ color does not matter

That's a great point. I know very little about motor oil, but do my own oil changes on 4-6 different cars in any given year. This forum has been essential to exponentially increase my knowledge of the topic. I have been introduced to used oil analysis, distributors that make house brand oils...

Suggestions on where to find a closeout of higher end LVT- style/ color does not matter

Hi @GON - I have been a lurker for a while but created an account to respond to this. You could try Jacob's Supply. This business is in Michigan, right at the Ohio border. I have no financial interest in the business, but know the owner and can attest that his team is very focused on customer...
