Its a Honda engine and yes there engines are very well built....but when you start to mod the car things can happen. I use Dello and will probably stop when they stop making it.

i guess if you analyze it alot or way way to much then it would be bad..or your just finding a way to rip on a very very well built filter. the Mahle filter im using now has a threaded end bypass..if that makes you feel better

well thats an oollld post...but its exactly what i needed. im still confused on why they recomend such a hi viscosity oil for thoes engines.

My dad has run Dello400 in his 98 f150 with the 4.6 for a few years now. aucaly he uses it in all our cars, and really dosn't plan on chaning his oil of choice. it seems to work fine for him.

well i got myself into a talk on a nother web board on motor oil. I tried to explain that motor oils will react or perform differently when used in different motors. is that true. from what i have read on this board thats the conclusion i came up with. Im also after some info on when dino oil...

it was a figure of speach. Mann and Mahle filters are very nice filters, very good construction. so basing my filter choice off of a good looking oem german filter cant realy be that bad.....

Alright ive been battling out with a few guys on a vw board about what tranny oil is best for my 84 scirocco.
