I have had some recent concerns on another forum on shelf life of oil. I frequently use oil that is over 10 yrs old without issue. Usually it is some formulation of Mobil 1. I would not think that mineral oils would degrade over time if kept sealed in the original bottles. Perry

So why is the performance of Pennzoil Synchromesh so much worse than the original GM version? The Pennzoil is cheaper. The GM version shifted much better than the Pennzoil version especially in cold weather. Perry

I am in the process of buying a Kubota tractor. It takes 11 gallons of Super UDT fluid to change out the transmission/hydraulic fluid. That is like $200 of fluid. Are there cheaper alternatives that are just as good? Perry
