Definitely hard I'm sure for any car overcome that. Once the temp it's about 107 ish, the CX-9 just cannot keep up.

Didn't measure the temp but our CX-9 was struggling hard yesterday with a Phoenix 116 temp.

Wouldn't hurt a thing! I serviced our CX-9 around 60k miles. Around 90,000 or so, it started developing a harsh 2-1 downshift, and did not seem quite as smooth as usual. At 98,000, took it to Mazda and much to my surprise it needs a new transmission, and has been at the shop for a few weeks due...
